This Jaguar XJ-S was transformed by the maniacs at Lister into a high-performance supercar, the Lister Le Mans. The 5.3-litre V12 engine was converted to an enormous 7.0 litres, delivering nearly 500 horsepower. This upgrade enabled the Lister-Jaguar to achieve a 0-60 mph time of just 4.5 seconds, surpassing the performance of even the Ferrari Testarossa at that time. Lister added a striking body kit that featured widened wheel arches, a front air dam, and a rear spoiler that gave the XJ-S a more aggressive and muscular appearance. Only five convertibles were ever produced
